As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations in an assigned geographical area. Your role will involve managing a team of field sales representatives, setting sales targets, evaluating team performance, and preparing sales reports. You will also be expected to develop and modify customer frequency plans as required. Key Responsibilities: - Managing, training, and providing guidance to the sales team within the assigned territory. - Setting achievable sales targets for the team and monitoring their performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded. - Collecting customer feedback and communicating updates to senior management. - Traveling to potential and existing customers to present company offerings and enhance brand awareness. - Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers. - Implementing a sales management process to identify and prioritize key customers and prospects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or a related field (preferred). - Proven sales experience, with sector-specific sales experience being an added advantage. - Track record of meeting sales quotas. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and consultative sales skills. - Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills.
