Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in medical devices or pharmaceutical critical care. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in hospital sales, including clinics and diagnostic centers, and a proven track record of working within the Bangalore geography. This role involves driving sales strategy, expanding business opportunities, and managing key accounts in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development and Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet assigned targets.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and execute promotional campaigns.

Business Development

  • Build and nurture relationships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and onboard new clients across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Effectively position and promote products in the hospital segment.

Account Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospital administrators and purchase managers.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with hospital procurement teams.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address concerns proactively.

Product Knowledge and Training

  • Acquire deep knowledge of the companys product portfolio.
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay informed about competitor products and market positioning.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
  • Evaluate promotional campaign effectiveness and refine strategies accordingly

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client communications.

Market Intelligence

  • Gather insights on competitors, pricing strategies, and emerging trends.
  • Provide actionable feedback to product development and marketing teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device or pharma critical care sales.
  • Proven experience in hospital sales, including clinics and diagnostic centers.
  • Prior experience working in the Bangalore healthcare market.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of hospital procurement processes and the healthcare sector.
