We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive sales and distribution objectives in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the FMCG Food & Beverage industry, with experience in channel management, team leadership, and market development. Key Responsibilities: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area. Manage and motivate a team of Sales Officers / Sales Executives to ensure effective coverage and sales performance. Appoint, develop, and manage distributors to ensure optimal product availability and secondary sales growth. Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies to increase market share. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities. Ensure execution of marketing and promotional plans at the ground level. Maintain strong relationships with trade partners (retailers, distributors, stockists). Track and report sales performance metrics, market feedback, and channel health. Ensure adherence to company policies, systems, and compliance norms. Desired Candidate Profile: Experience: 3-5 years in FMCG Sales, preferably in the Food & Beverage segment. Education: Graduate (MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing will be an advantage). Strong network and understanding of the regional FMCG market (UP region). Proven ability to manage distributors and a sales team effectively. Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive CTC: 6 – 9 LPA (based on experience and fit).
