Job Summary

Area sales manager for Medication Delivery Systems to achieve sales target in both existing and new accounts by promoting products through personal contacts with customers and also through education programs at customer sites and non-customer sites e.g. Hospitals/Labs/Nursing homes/Pharmacies etc.

Responsibilities

  • To achieve sales targets & profitability in his area of control.
  • Achievement of territorial sales budget, profit and market share targets assigned by the Branch Manager
  • Achievement of Personal sales budget, profit and market share targets assigned by the Branch Manager
  • Maintenance of records and submission of reports on a regular basis.
  • Planning and execution of action plan for each hospital / account under coverage
  • Execution of marketing plans for all product groups in his area of influence.
  • Organizing, conducting in service workshops and training sessions for customers on BD products.
  • Identifying tender/rate contract opportunities and submitting proposals.
  • Achieving higher level of dealer development, identifying key opinion leaders and creating awareness about BD products among them.
  • Increasing the acceptance of BD products in the hospitals / institutions under coverage by persuading doctors/staff to use BD products for patient care.
  • Maintaining a detailed record of customer accounts (incl. key opinion leaders, Key personnel in Govt. Institutions) as per norms or requirements.
  • Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction by providing quality service to them.
  • Selling skills

Qualifications

Experience: 5-7 yearsKey Accounts Coverage Experience to be there.
