Positions: Assistant Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer and Senior Sales Engineer.

Location: Bangalore

Department: Sales and Business Development

Reports to: Regional Sales Head / Country Head/ Directors

Job Overview: The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales and business development efforts for industrial cables and wires within the assigned region. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with customers, distributors, and OEMs, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring sales targets are met. The Sales Manager will work closely with the technical team to offer customized cable solutions to industrial clients, including those in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, Industries and Power sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Generate and qualify leads to develop a healthy sale for orgainsation.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.

  • Provide technical consultation to customers, helping them select appropriate cable products for their specific needs.

  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

3. Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential new clients and industries to expand the business.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional activities, trade shows, and customer engagement events.

4. Sales Operations:

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.

  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet targets.

  • Manage the sales process from inquiry to delivery, including pricing, negotiation, and order management.

5. Team Management (if applicable):

  • Lead, trained, and motivate a team of sales professionals (if applicable).

  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to the sales team to enhance performance.

6. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including product management, logistics, and technical support, to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Stay updated with the latest product developments and technical advancements in the cable industry.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in science, electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales within the industrial cables, electrical components, or related industries.

  • Skills:

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business development.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong technical knowledge of cable products and applications.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

  • Familiarity with local and international cable standards and regulations.
