About the Role

Inventant Education is seeking a driven, experienced Area Sales Manager to manage school sales and business development across Jind, Panipat, and Karnal. The ASM will be responsible for meeting schools, managing distributors, driving revenue growth, and ensuring strong market penetration of Inventant’s academic products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets across assigned districts.
  • Visit schools regularly to pitch Inventant Education’s textbooks, digital products, and academic solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with school principals, directors, coordinators, and decision-makers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in Jind, Panipat, and Karnal.
  • Manage and support distributors, dealers, and channel partners to ensure smooth supply and availability of books.
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and academic discussions with school management.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain strong credit discipline.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and share feedback with management.
  • Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams for events, campaigns, and product promotions.
  • Provide daily/weekly sales reports and ensure timely completion of all documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate, preferably with experience in education, publishing, or school sales.
  • 3–7 years of experience as an ASM / Territory Manager / Sales Executive in the school books or publishing industry.
  • Strong network and understanding of the school ecosystem in Jind, Panipat, and Karnal.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple schools, distributors, and routes efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
