Skills : Insurance/Sales/BancassuranceRole Overview

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales through assigned bank branches, managing partner relationships, supervising a team, ensuring revenue targets, and maintaining high service standards to grow the bancassurance business in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for life/health/general insurance products.
Drive business through assigned bank branches and ensure consistent performance.
Increase penetration of insurance products across partner branches.
Monitor branch-wise productivity and implement corrective actions.

Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with Branch Managers, Cluster Heads, and frontline bank staff.
Conduct regular joint field calls with bank teams for lead generation and closure.
Ensure high levels of engagement with bank partners through regular visits and communication.

Team Management

Manage and mentor a team of Relationship Officers Bancassurance Officers.
Provide training, motivation, and performance monitoring to improve productivity.
Ensure team members maintain compliance and process standards.

Training & Development

Conduct product and process training for bank staff.
Regularly update partner teams on new product launches, campaigns, and offers.
