Area Sales Executive

As a Sales Manager in the publishing industry, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. You will lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance. Your role will involve managing the operations of the branch, building strong relationships with existing clients, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Additionally, you will prospect and onboard new clients to expand the customer base. Analyzing sales data and market trends will be crucial in identifying growth opportunities and optimizing sales strategies. You will represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote publications and services. Regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights for senior management will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, along with a proven track record in sales management, specifically in the publishing industry. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to develop and execute sales plans. Proficiency in sales CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite is required. Knowledge of the publishing industry, including current trends and competitors, is important. Being willing to travel for client meetings and industry events is necessary. This is a full-time position based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu.
