Area Sales Executive - B2C

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Target Achievement

    : Achieve agreed-upon sales expectations and continuously monitor actual sales against these targets.
  • Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D)

    : Implement market and outlet coverage plans, adhere to fixed call frequency for yourself and customer groups, and ensure infrastructure is in place as planned. Guarantee visible product availability and freshness as per norms.
  • Order & Delivery Systems

    : Ensure cost-effective order capture and efficient delivery systems are in operation.
  • Category & Brand Input

    : Implement trade and consumer schemes and ensure the quality execution of merchandising activities.
  • Stock Control & Forecasting

    : Maintain effective stock control, provide accurate sales forecasting, and ensure adequate and timely remittances. Make timely mid-course corrections as needed.
  • Competitive Feedback & Market Knowledge

    : Provide timely feedback on competitive activities and offer constructive recommendations for countering them. Possess complete territorial knowledge, including competition brands, prices, margins, and activities.
  • Trade Relations

    : Develop superior trade relations with key trade members.
  • Wholesale Distributor (WD) Operations

    : Educate and train customer groups. Assist in the effective functioning of WD operations, including order capture and delivery systems, WDIS, and record maintenance. Demonstrate selling techniques through live examples.
  • Compliance

    : Adhere to the code of conduct, conform to all financial and administrative systems, and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory norms.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding and proven experience in

    B2C sales

    within the

    FMCG industry

  • Expertise in implementing trade marketing and distribution plans.
  • Excellent skills in market and outlet coverage, and ensuring product availability and freshness.
  • Ability to manage stock, accurately forecast, and ensure timely remittances.
  • Strong analytical skills for competitive feedback and market knowledge.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain superior trade relations.
  • Knowledge of

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
