You are a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager / Assistant Manager specializing in Key Accounts Sales. Your primary role will be to oversee and enhance key customer relationships within the project and trade sectors in your designated region. You should have a solid background in the building materials industry and a proven track record of establishing and maintaining long-term professional connections with stakeholders such as architects, builders, contractors, and consultants. Your responsibilities will include managing and expanding key accounts in both project and trade segments, fostering strong relationships with various industry professionals, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, collaborating with internal teams for effective client solutions, monitoring competitor activities and market trends, ensuring timely collections, preparing sales forecasts and reports, and actively participating in industry events to enhance brand visibility. The ideal candidate for this position should possess 8 to 13 years of experience in key account management or project sales within the building materials sector. You must have a successful history of achieving or surpassing sales targets, a robust network within the regional construction ecosystem, exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required, while an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
