Job Title: Architect Sales Representative - Landscape Design Focus

Position Overview:
The Architect Sales Representative will play a vital role in driving sales and fostering partnerships with top architects and landscape designers. This position requires a deep understanding of landscape design principles, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our granite products in enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven sales professional with a proven track record of building relationships and driving revenue growth within the architecture and design community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with top architects, landscape designers, and design firms to promote our range of granite landscaping products.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the architecture and landscape design community.
  • Product Promotion: Educate architects and designers on the unique features and benefits of our granite materials and how they can enhance their landscape projects.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand the needs and preferences of clients and provide tailored solutions that align with their design vision and project requirements.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, landscape designers, and project teams to integrate our products seamlessly into their design plans.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market expansion.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and track performance metrics to evaluate sales effectiveness and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to showcase our products and network with potential clients.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to project completion and beyond.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the architecture, design, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of landscape design principles and techniques, with knowledge of granite materials and their applications in outdoor environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information and product benefits to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients and industry professionals.
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.
