Job Description

  • PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Understand the Procurement & Logistics functions
  • Update the GRN on time in the E-Procurement tool
  • Update banking information by calling suppliers individually and forward the same to finance for vendor creation
  • Respond to internal customersRFI requests daily
  • Maintain a proper Bond Register and coordinate with the finance team
  • Work with CHA to clear goods for import and export on need basis
  • Work with CHA to get the Procurement Endorsement copy from the SEZ officer, wherever applicable
  • Understand the Reachwell process flow and customs-related processes and support
  • Manage documentation backup (both soft and hard copies) and database
  • Upload and archive scanned relevant procurement documents in the backup folder
  • Maintain supplier files and documentation, and track and maintain supplier performance scorecards
  • Conduct surveys with internal stakeholders to gather feedback on supplier performance
  • Provide regular updates on task status through daily and weekly reports to the ICOE Procurement team
  • Review past vendor records and contracts for errors or missing information, and work with internal stakeholders to make corrections and update the Vendor Database Management
  • Coordinate between Supply Chain and Finance on vendor payment status
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Procurement ICOE team

  • TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Apprenticeshipshould be having basic skills of Indirect -Procurement and Sourcing
  • Proficient skills in computer including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn and master new software programs including procurement related tool software
  • Knowledge of General Procurement Processes and Procedures
  • Ability to work in a team and provide individual results as well
  • Learn the responsibilities and requirements of Sourcing, procurement, and Strategy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software application and working environment is preferable
  • The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be able to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas with peers, management, and certification authorities
  • ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES Bachelordegree in supply chain or a related field
  • Strong computer proficiency particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn and master new software programs including procurement software
  • Excellent and personable verbal, presentation, and written communication skills Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • A good team player
