Job Description

Develops, facilitates the implementation and maintains schedules, program deliverables and program status including status of key health milestones and KPIs on a timely basis Facilitates effective Program Development Team (PDT) meetings on the appropriate cadence, driving proactive issue resolution These meeting should set up the team members for success PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES vEnsure via regular and effective communication with Platform Manager consistent understanding and executing of the FLP process vActs as the objective management voice in the project team vDrive adherence and support continuous improvement to FLP process to deliver increase quality and cost performance vDrive Program budgets adherence for all in FLP mentioned resources and tasks vEnsure quarterly reviews of CAR to accurately represent the project status and escalate to Platform Manager with options if misalignment to desired metrics is evident vResponsible for all documentation residing in PLM, reflect actual working practice for programs/ customers which are assigned to them or their team members vEnsure via regular and effective communication, with all supporting functional teams, a clear and concise understanding of all requirements and status of changes to program or customer development timeline vSupports continuous evaluation of program risks by tracking and driving the appropriate implemented risk mitigation vEnsure knowledge about and compliance with Customer Specific Requirements throughout your team vDrives a learning environment across program team through active listening and coaching vResponsible for creating a positive, proactive environment which focuses on \u201cmaking people successful\u201d and \u201cdoing what we say\u201d vEnsure PM metrics are adhered to, escalate with options and lead team to drive full root cause analysis to any deviations to plan vEnsure self-development plans, holiday schedule coverage and all project tracking KPIs are adhered to i e booking of hours to appropriate projects and meet target percentage of booking vBecome the key contact for programs/customers you are responsible for vUnless otherwise agreed to by platform manager and finance a minimum of 80% of hours are to be spent on project workvSr Program Manager Support Platform Manager as delegate when requestedvEnsure relationships with customers and team members are strong _Note: These statements are intended to describe the general nature of the job and are intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills and duties _ TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES vSystem Knowledge vTesting and Validation experience vPrevious experience in automotive industry vProgram Management experience vQuality management experience vMeasurement Technology/Statistical Process Control knowledge vMaterials and Processing knowledge vWorking knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA process vExperience in Program or Project management ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES vEffective written and verbal communications vA good team player vProblem-solving skills vCross cultural work experiences vAbility to work in a matrix organization Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS vUniversity degree in Engineering or Business Administration or a comparable required v>5 years experience in international automotive industry desired vProgram Management Professional certification is desired vInternational experience desired vStrong knowledge of Program Management and FLP process is beneficial vExperience leading a multinational program team or customer group vGood understanding of Commercial, Product and Process requirements vEnglish required, other languages as per customer needRecruiting Company: Textron India PVT Limited Primary
