Job Title: Application Support Executive

Department: IT / Application Support

Job Purpose

To provide Training to Users and technical/functional support for HIMS-EMR applications, ensuring smooth operations, quick resolution of issues, and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Support & Maintenance (HIMS-EMR)

  • Monitor and maintain HIMS-EMR applications to ensure availability and performance.

  • Knowledge of Data Base and Hospital HIMS-EMR Application

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in coordination with development and infrastructure teams.

  • Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support to end users.

2. User Assistance & Training

  • Assist users in understanding application features and functions.

  • Conduct training sessions and create user manuals, Masters or SOPs.

3. Incident & Problem Management

  • Log, track, and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

  • Complaint Logs with Developer team and resolve end user application issue.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or vendors.

4. Testing & Implementation

  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new features or enhancements.

  • Assist in application rollouts, migrations, and upgrades.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of issues, resolutions, and change requests.

  • Prepare periodic reports on application performance and usage.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Good understanding of application support processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Basic knowledge of databases, SQL queries, and APIs (preferred).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 34 years of experience in application or software support.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.Role & responsibilities
