About the Role

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will act as a software detective—identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues across critical business applications. This position is ideal for early-career professionals who have a foundation in functional test planning and want to build expertise in application support, software testing, and problem-solving within enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Participate in problem-solving discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and suggest preventive measures.
• Support the implementation of software patches, updates, and configuration changes.
• Assist in functional test planning, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Document troubleshooting steps, issue resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and team learning initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect reporting tools.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with test automation tools.
• Basic exposure to CI/CD pipelines, software support tools, or ITIL-based processes.

Educational Qualification

• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields).
