Job Description

Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
technical support and troubleshooting
for business-critical applications.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve
application-related issues
in a timely manner.
Work closely with development teams to address
bugs, performance issues, and enhancements
.
Monitor
application performance
and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
Manage and optimize
SQL Server databases
, including query performance tuning and debugging.
Perform
root cause analysis
and document resolutions for recurring issues.
Support
application deployments, updates, and patches
in collaboration with the DevOps team.
Maintain
incident and change management documentation
to ensure compliance with business processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience
in application support and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of
.NET technologies
(C#, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, etc.).
Expertise in
SQL Server
, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience in
application monitoring, debugging, and performance analysis
.
Good understanding of
incident management, change management, and ITIL processes
.
Strong
problem-solving and analytical skills
with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
cloud platforms
such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
Familiarity with
DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Bitbucket)
.
Knowledge of
automation tools
to improve efficiency in application support tasks.
