Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP services, infrastructure automation, and cloud security. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud solutions on GCP. Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Optimize cloud resources for performance, security, and cost efficiency. Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar). Monitor cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot performance issues. Ensure compliance with security best practices and cloud governance policies. Work closely with development and operations teams for seamless cloud integration. Manage databases, storage, networking, and access controls in GCP. Implement and maintain cloud backup and disaster recovery strategies. Stay updated with the latest GCP services and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, etc.). Hands-on expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE). Knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in GCP. Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. GCP certification (Associate/Professional) is a plus.
