Project Role : Application Support Engineer Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills : Software License Management Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Degree in IT or Business related discipline Summary :As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems related to Software License Management. Your typical day will involve providing dynamic service and acting as a software detective to ensure smooth functioning of the systems. Key Responsibilities:-1.Manage the delivery of multiple software license compliance reviews to agreed timeframes and budgets.2.Work with end users to assist in the data collection process enabling a smooth and efficient end to end review process that meets our client timescales.3.Drive progress of SAM engagements resolution of compliance issues.4.Deliver information to Customers on best licensing practices to enhance knowledge and understanding.5.Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues. Technical Experience:-1.10 years of experience with software contracts and license compliance, asset discovery and contract negotiations.2.Analyzing and understanding licensing business practices product development.3.Validating the customers entitlement position against the software licensing contracts that govern his purchases.4.Strong understanding of license metrics and software usage with knowledge on compliance issues, their causes and resolution.5.Experience designing and implementing sustainable IT Asset Management IT. Professional Attributes:-1.Excellent communication skills verbal written.2.Advanced analytical skills using Excel or other software tools.3.Strong project management and delegation skills, meeting and enforcing deadlines.4.A technical understanding of networks, the use of licensed software and software deployment.
