Application Packaging Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain application packages and virtualized applications.
• Package/repackage applications for Windows 7 & 10.
• Work with packaging tools: AdminStudio, InstallShield, Wise Script Editor, Orca.
• Scripting expertise: PowerShell & VBScript; strong shell/batch scripting skills.
• Implement Application Virtualization technologies (Microsoft App-V 5.0+).
• Use Application Compatibility Toolkit for application discovery, rationalization, and remediation during Windows upgrades.
• Create packages in SCCM and troubleshoot application issues effectively.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V).

Preferred/Additional Skills:

• Mac Packaging, MSIX Packaging, ThinApp, XenApp
• QA knowledge
