Application Engineer

Job Title:

Job Purpose:

The Application Engineer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of preparing and submitting techno-commercial offers, coordinating with customers, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to meet client requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer coordination, and project management skills to successfully convert opportunities into sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Techno-Commercial Offer Submission:

  Prepare and submit accurate and timely techno-commercial offers as per customer requirements.

• Customer Coordination:

  Serve as the primary point of contact for customers post-offer submission, addressing queries and providing updates.

• Offer Amendment & Follow-up:

  Prepare amendment data sheets, track progress, and follow up on offers to ensure compliance and timely closure.

• Product-Specific Offer Management:

  Independently manage and own product-based offers, ensuring alignment with customer specifications.

• Follow-up & Sales Support:

  Maintain consistent follow-ups with customers, resolve concerns, and support the successful conversion of offers into sales.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Valves & Systems Expertise:

  In-depth knowledge of safety relief valves, pressure reducing valves, breather valves, flame arresters, emergency vent valves, centrifuge blanketing systems, pressure reducing stations, and tank blanketing systems.

• Industry Standards:

  Strong familiarity with API 520, API 526, API 527, API 2000, and other relevant standards.

• Technical Application:

  Ability to interpret and apply technical specifications to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
