Application Engineer

Job Description: Application Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated, and self-driven Application Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in application support, deployment, and troubleshooting. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, quickly learn new technologies, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application operations and deliver technical solutions for business needs. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications. Provide L1/L2/L3 application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments. Monitor application performance and ensure high availability. Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.). Document technical issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures. Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for escalations and enhancements. Monitor 24/7 all the sites and applications to ensure uptime and smooth operations. Independently manage tasks, proactively learn new tools/technologies, and take ownership of solutions. Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems (mandatory). • 5–8 years of experience as an Application Engineer or in a similar technical role. • Proven experience in application support, deployment, and monitoring. • Good knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus. • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. • Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, PowerShell) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to self-learn, work independently, and deliver results with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
