Application Engineer Oracle Technical HCM Cloud

The Application Engineer, Technical HCM for Cloud at TrueBlue Inc will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying Oracle solutions to achieve defined business goals. You will maintain skills in Oracle Fusion applications process design and configuration, application design, development, integration, testing, and deployment, as well as Oracle application technical architecture. As a part of TrueBlue Enterprise Technology and Applications team, you will collaborate with experienced individuals who have expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM and ERP in SaaS and PaaS environments. This role offers the opportunity to expand functional and technical knowledge in Oracle Fusion cloud applications within a highly Oracle Fusion savvy environment. Your responsibilities will include analyzing business requests in collaboration with functional consultants and subject matter experts to provide independent technical solutions. You will support and implement Oracle product offerings to meet TrueBlue business needs with minimal technical debt. You are expected to provide advanced technical system knowledge and support for Oracle Cloud HCM, acting as the internal technical Subject Matter Expert (SME). This involves understanding business requirements, leading application design, configuration/development, testing, and providing advanced end-user support. You will also need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Key responsibilities include administering HCM design and configuration, building integrations, data conversions, Fast Formulas, Reports, and Extensions, as well as managing data integration and security with extended applications based on needs. You will work with third-party systems and vendors that require integration with Oracle HCM Cloud and own the process to design and coordinate data cleansing and conversion activities. Additionally, you will recommend and advise on the usage of Oracle Cloud tools for reporting, analytics, BI Publisher Reports, Extracts, integrations, and data conversions. Supporting user roles, providing production and ad-hoc reporting solutions, resolving technical issues, engaging Oracle Support, and leading technical unit testing efforts are also part of your role. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3-5 years of demonstrated experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules as a technical systems analyst/developer. Expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM technologies, strong analytical skills, ability to work in a team environment, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Experience with Oracle OIC, OAC, FAW, and exposure to US and CANADA localizations are considered a plus. This role requires the ability to travel up to 20% and familiarity with HCM Cloud Core HR, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, and Learning functional modules, as well as technical skills such as Fast Formula, BI & OTBI Reports, Approval Management Engine, Personalization, data loading tools, HCM Extract, and HCM Cloud RESTful Services.,
