Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer at OMICRON, your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical and application support for all OMICRON products and services across various areas of the power network in the South Asia region. - Conducting product presentations, on-site demonstrations, and training sessions for OMICRON products related to power system assets. - Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, offering application and commercial support. - Troubleshooting technical issues for customers and sales support. - Participating in exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and user meetings, with a travel share of up to 50%. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Professional technical education in electrical engineering with a solid understanding of protection systems and electrical assets. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on testing and commissioning experience in power systems, particularly in power system protection and high voltage apparatus. - Knowledge of power system substations, generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power. - Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering presentations and training sessions. - Result-oriented mindset with a strong service-oriented attitude. - Proactive nature and ability to thrive in a small team with international colleagues. - Proficiency in English and Hindi. - Willingness to travel as needed.
