Work Mode

: Onsite (Relocation to Chennai is mandatory)We are looking for an experienced Application Developer

(VC++)

to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions in the Windows environment. The role requires deep expertise in

VC++, MFC, Win32 API

, and related technologies, with proven experience working in

product-based companies

.The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving ability, hands-on coding experience, and an interest in working on

industrial automation and semiconductor equipment software

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using Microsoft Visual C++.
Implement new features to control analyzer and doser hardware in an established code base.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding best practices.
Debug, troubleshoot, and fix software issues.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment).

Must-Have Qualifications

Education: B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech / MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in C++ and MFC (with recent MFC experience not older than 5 years).
Strong knowledge of Win32 API, STL, SQL, XML, TCP/IP Sockets.
Experience in data structures and algorithms.
Expertise in debugging and optimizing multithreaded applications.
Strong understanding of Visual C++ and OOP principles.
Must have prior product company experience.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
Stable career history (minimum 2 years tenure in previous organizations).

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of Modbus, SECS/GEM protocols.
Experience with Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers.
Background in industrial automation or semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Familiarity with liquid chemical analytical hardware.
Hands-on experience in multithreading and microservices.

Interview Process

Round 3: Design
Round 4+: In-Person Technical Discussions

Additional Information

Notice Period: 30 – 60 days
Candidates with prior MFC experience who are willing to work on MFC again are welcome.
Relocation to Chennai is mandatory.
