Application Architect – Cloud Integration

who will be responsible for designing

robust and scalable architectures

across diverse environments, including on-premises, cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. The role demands expertise in

Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)

and modern cloud-based integration platforms. The architect will ensure seamless integrations with a focus on performance, security, and reliability across complex, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and secure integration architectures across on-premises, cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Lead solution design using platforms such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / App Connect Enterprise (ACE), Tibco Cloud Integration (TCI), MuleSoft Anypoint Platform / CloudHub, Dell Boomi, Workato, and SnapLogic.
  • Ensure seamless integrations that deliver optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration strategy and standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and promote emerging trends and growth areas such as automation, DevOps, Cloud, IoT, and Generative AI (GenAI).
  • Provide architectural governance, best practices, and technical leadership across projects.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, scalability requirements, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in enterprise application integration (EAI) and cloud integration solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms: IBM IIB / ACE, TCI, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato, SnapLogic (any combination).
  • Proven experience designing large-scale, distributed, and hybrid integration architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of security, performance optimization, and reliability in integration solutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in automation, DevOps, Cloud, IoT, and AI-driven integration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
