Roles andResponsibilities Creating users, security groups, computer accounts, and GPO policies in AD Creating email accounts in O365 Troubleshoot O365 related issues Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux). Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and security patches. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core IT services. Maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions. Ensure secure network access for local and remote users. Implement and maintain system and network security measures (firewalls, antivirus, encryption). Enforce policies for IT operations and data protection. Monitor systems for unauthorized access and suspicious activities. Develop and manage backup procedures. Test and document disaster recovery processes. Ensure data availability and integrity. Provide Level 2/3 support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Liaise with vendors and support providers as needed. Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for internal IT use. Develop scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation of repetitive tasks. Participate in infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments (e.g., using Ansible, Terraform). Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed. Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company. Conduct remote troubleshooting Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts Knowledge on DNS, DHCP, IPv4, NTP, AD, etc. Requirements Skills and Expertise Excellent problem-solving skills and Documentation Skills. Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodologies. Good communication skills (Verbal & Written) and ability towork within a 24x7 support environment. Proven experience(35+ years) as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux(Ubuntu, CentOS) and network protocols. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure,GCP). Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CDpipelines.
