Android Team Lead

As an Android Team Lead with over 10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling high-performance Android applications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of Android engineers, emphasizing best practices and technical excellence. - Implement robust app security standards including encryption, secure storage, SSL pinning, and biometric authentication. - Optimize application performance, memory usage, and network efficiency for large-scale fintech applications. - Collaborate closely with Backend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure comprehensive solution delivery. - Utilize clean architecture principles such as MVVM, multi-module apps, and scalable code practices. - Conduct code reviews, establish engineering guidelines, and contribute to development standards. - Ensure adherence to regulatory and security guidelines like RBI, PCI-DSS, and other fintech standards. - Manage app releases, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and Play Store deployments at scale. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 10+ years of professional experience in Android development. - Proficiency in Core Android Development using Kotlin, Java, Jetpack components, Coroutines, Flow, and LiveData. - Strong knowledge of Architecture patterns like MVVM, Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger). - Experience with Networking & Data tools such as Retrofit, OkHttp, gRPC, WebSockets, MQTT, Room/Realm/SQLite, and Datastore. - Familiarity with Security Practices like Encryption, SSL/TLS, Certificate pinning, Android Keystore, OAuth2.0, and JWT. - Expertise in Performance & Scalability aspects including Multithreading, Profiling, Crash analytics, etc. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle optimization, ProGuard/R8, and Play Console. - Proficiency in Testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, and UI Automator. - Knowledge of fintech compliance standards (PCI-DSS, RBI) and experience in digital KYC, lending apps, and fraud detection modules.
