Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Android developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and

support to foster professional growth and development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other

stakeholders, to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.

Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of Android applications, ensuring

adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance benchmarks.

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify areas for improvement, and

enforce coding standards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Android ecosystem,

evaluating and integrating new tools and frameworks to enhance development processes and

workflows.

Act as a technical advisor and advocate for Android development best practices within the

organization.

Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex technical issues, troubleshooting

problems, and resolving technical challenges.

Collaborate with QA engineers to define test plans, strategies, and ensure the delivery of

high-quality, bug-free software.

Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, proactive communication, and a

commitment to excellence in all aspects of software development.

Requirements-

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree

preferred.

8+ years of experience in Android application development, with a proven track record of

building and shipping successful Android applications.

5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, leading teams of software

engineers.

Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages, as well as Android SDK, Android

Studio, and related development tools.

Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best

practices for building scalable, maintainable Android applications.

Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for tackling complex technical challenges and

finding innovative solutions.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

simultaneously.
