Android Developer(WFH)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile application development and a strong understanding of the Android platform. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to create innovative and user-friendly mobile applications that meet the needs of our clients and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or both.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Previous experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Active participation in the Android developer community through forums, blogs, or open-source contributions.
