Android Developer

Overview:

We are seeking an Android Developer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building innovative mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. As part of the team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the Android applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Android applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, identify improvements, and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across diverse devices and OS versions.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into development.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, visually appealing interfaces.
• Integrate APIs and ensure seamless data exchange with backend systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of proven experience as an Android Developer, with published apps on the Google Play Store.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns (MVVM, MVP).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, third-party libraries, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Firebase services (authentication, analytics, cloud messaging).
