Android Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced Android applications using
Kotlin and Java
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Integrate
RESTful APIs
and third-party libraries
Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness
Debug and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and crashes
Follow best practices for
MVVM / Clean Architecture
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Publish and maintain apps on the
Google Play Store

Required Skills

4+ years of experience in
Android app development
Strong knowledge of
Kotlin
, Java
Experience with
Android SDK
, Android Studio
Expertise in
MVVM architecture
, LiveData, ViewModel
Hands-on with
Jetpack components
(Room, Navigation, Data Binding)
REST API integration using
Retrofit / Volley
Familiarity with
Firebase
(Push Notifications, Crashlytics, Analytics)
Experience with
Git/GitHub/Bitbucket
Understanding of
Material Design guidelines

Good to Have

Experience with
Jetpack Compose
Knowledge of
CI/CD for Android
Experience with
payment gateway integration
Exposure to
unit testing & Espresso
Knowledge of React Native or Flutter is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
