Android Developer

We are App Pro Tech Solutions, a forward-thinking tech company specializing in IoT products. Our mission is to build smart, innovative solutions that bring convenience and security to everyday life. We’re now looking for a passionate Android Developer to join our growing team.

As an Android Developer at App Pro Tech Solutions, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly features that power our IoT and smart locker solutions.

• Develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Optimise apps for performance, scalability, and usability
• Debug and fix issues across multiple devices and Android versions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• 1–2 years of professional Android development experience (mobile application development is a must)

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK
• Proficiency in Android Design and Android Development
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.)
• Familiarity with MVVM architecture
• Strong knowledge of API integration (REST/JSON)
• Experience with Git version control
• Good understanding of Material Design guidelines

Problem-Solving & Collaboration

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment

Good to Have

• Experience with Firebase services and Agile methodology
• Knowledge of publishing apps to the Google Play Store
• Previous experience in IoT products, smart lockers, or related domains (a strong plus)
