Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for small, medium and large businesses. The objective of the GCS Control Management Business Conduct team is to provide subject matter expertise on Business Conduct Risk topics to ensure the BU is equipped with in-depth knowledge of risk-stripes to manage and mitigate these risks effectively, and support the BU with expert guidance for topical Operational Risk intelligence. GCS is looking for an Analyst/ Sr. Analyst of Control Management, Business Conduct passionate about ensuring business conduct is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

How will you make an impact in this role

Analyst/ Sr. Analyst, GCS Business Conduct Control Management will:
  • Be responsible for program performance, development of controls, and testing activities to support business conduct objectives for the GCS organization.
  • Work closely with Legal Entity Compliance Officers, General Counsels Organization, Governance and other GCS partners to comply with internal standards, policies, and regulatory obligations.
  • Assist in documenting subject matter expertise used to advise BUs.
  • Support compiling any planned guidance that is shared with BUs.
  • Assist in day-to-day activities to support compliance with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types (e.g., AEMP 88 Conduct Risk Management Policy).
  • Assist in administrative activities to compile topical risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates relevant to business conduct.
  • Assist in administrative activities to compile materials and disseminate targeted training and awareness programs to increase understanding and management of specific risk topics within GCS.
  • Assist in specific activities / tasks required to support more senior team members in designing and implementing business conduct related controls.
  • Assist in specific activities / tasks to gather relevant operational risk insights, better practices, themes, etc. across the enterprise.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and / or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities.
  • Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Should be proactive, have strong attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and / or operational standards.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are a plus
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
  • Supporting go-to subject matter experts in sharing subject matter expertise with the business
  • Facilitating activities to comply with enterprise policies and programs on specific risk types
  • Support advising on business conduct and broader operational risk policies and programs
  • Experience in the financial services industry
