Analyst - Pan-bank CCO Support

As an Analyst within the Pan-bank CCO team at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve setting up new processes, assessing the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework, and adapting to an ever-changing regulatory environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop reports to communicate key findings from risk assessments, including control weaknesses and recommendations to stakeholders. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to improve overall control effectiveness through detailed documentation of control assessments, procedures, and findings. - Implement and maintain an efficient control framework. - Produce exception monitoring reports for management, highlighting key risks, trends, and incidents. - Build insights to predict risks and identify areas for effective risk management. - Ensure effective processes, procedures, risk assessments, and controls in accordance with regulations and the Barclays Control Framework. - Provide advice to the Business on implementing appropriate controls for proactive risk management. - Assist with other control initiatives within the CCO team when requested. - Establish an escalation framework for compliance breaches or control failures for timely resolution and stakeholder communication. Qualifications Required: - Strong work ethic and discipline. - Experience in a control, governance, or oversight function. - Experience dealing with stakeholders and presenting at meetings. - Ability to share information and transfer knowledge to team members.
