Job Description: As a member of a Fortune 500 company and a leader in financial technology, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is responsible for owning and operating exchanges and clearing houses for various markets. In this role as an End User Computing Engineer, you will collaborate with technology leaders to support and enhance the global corporate computing environment. ICE's End User Computing group is integral to the company's operations, utilizing cutting-edge technology to meet user needs effectively. We are looking for a technically proficient individual with a proactive attitude, professionalism, and strong communication skills to join our team. Your responsibilities will include being a part of a skilled Global End User Computing team, where you will utilize your technical problem-solving skills, customer service mindset, and collaborative abilities to ensure seamless access to necessary hardware and software for all users across the organization. You will demonstrate a sense of urgency in resolving incidents and requests efficiently to maintain end-user productivity. Additionally, you will be involved in providing 24x7 support, including working in shifts and weekends. In this role, you will offer hardware, software, network, and server support primarily for Windows devices, with some exposure to Mac devices. Managing incoming queries from users through various communication channels and prioritizing issues effectively will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will focus on customer satisfaction, maintaining users, groups, and distribution lists, troubleshooting servers, and configuring mobile devices. Furthermore, basic troubleshooting experience in a VDI environment and end-user VPN connectivity resolution will also be expected. As an End User Computing Engineer, you will mentor other team members, document responsibilities and processes, and take the initiative to learn senior-level duties. The ideal candidate should hold a college degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical support or End User Computing Environment. Familiarity with service management tools, Active Directory, endpoint management tools, and knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems will be beneficial for this role.
