Job Description

What will you do? The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, as well as the ability to writes code in languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a website’s structure, design, and functionality. They must also be able to work closely with web designers to match the visual design of a site with the technical back end. They need to be able to execute tasks within defined timeframes while maintaining good code quality What are your Key Responsibilities? Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practicesCreate website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practicesIntegrate data from various back-end services and databasesGather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needsCreate and maintain software documentationStay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activitiesCooperate with web designers to match visual design intent What Skills you should have? Hands on experience on front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQueryGood understanding of responsive webpage designHands-on experience in technologies and concepts like, MVC, OOP, Design Patterns, Familiarity with browser testing and debuggingStrong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with team members and leadershipThe ability to multitask while keeping to the company’s timing and budget limitationsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsBasic understanding of CMS (Content Management Systems) such as WordPress, Joomla, and DrupalKnowledge of computer operating systems, web browsers, and mobile appsBasic understanding of web standards, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility and website security
