Job Description

As an ideal candidate for the role of Color Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Discussion with Engineering team regarding color development for new & existing models. - Having knowledge of paint properties, defects and their occurrences, as well as countermeasures. - Understanding of paint application methods in automobile OEM. - Familiarity with paint testing methods as per standards. - Coordinating with internal teams for production trials and shade stabilization. - Developing suppliers and handling supplier relationships, team management, and overseeing lab activities. - Coordinating with Supply chain for material procurement. - Ensuring safety in Paint Shops, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation measures. - Analyzing the paint process, improving paint quality, monitoring defects, and focusing on equipment for the paint finish. - Managing the team efficiently to achieve organizational targets. - Engaging in discussions with customers (Paint shops) to address their concerns and gather feedback.
