Alternative Operations Analyst

Role Overview: You will be part of the Alternative Operations team at VOYA INDIA, focusing on tasks that are unique and complex. Your role will involve analyzing tasks with strong problem-solving skills, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for permanent solutions. You will work in a time-sensitive production cycle, requiring minimum supervision and the ability to keep pace with a rapidly changing business environment. Key Responsibilities: - Forecast cash daily using trade settlement reports, bank account balances, and counterparties" margin call statements. - Prepare instructions for the settlement of margin calls related to Futures and other derivatives, and validate wire transfers. - Reconcile estimates of T+2 and T+3 settlements between Fund Administrator and trading platform. - Calculate and review interest for repurchase agreements counterparties. - Perform monthly end reconciliations with Fund Administrator, including profit and loss, position, and cash reconciliations. - Prepare month-end reports such as leverage calculations, asset under management calculations, and exposure calculations. - Handle regulatory reporting like Form PF and Form CPO. - Prepare reports for the board and review administrators" reports. - Interact effectively with various parts and levels of the organization, both internally and externally. - Promote a positive working environment and foster efficient working relationships. - Adapt to a multi-tasked environment with varying workloads, high priorities, and strict deadlines. Qualifications Required: - Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, business administration, or equivalent work experience. - 3 to 5 years of investment industry experience with a basic understanding of investment vehicles. - Basic knowledge of alternative instruments and industry setup. - Experience in reviewing financial statements before publication. - Familiarity with platforms like Bloomberg, PowerBI, and strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills. - Ability to work in challenging environments with varying workloads and deadlines. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships. - Ability to work in shifts.
