In the role of a Sales Representative in the Air sales channel at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be a pivotal figure driving the organization's growth by developing medium-sized accounts, nurturing opportunities, and fostering relationships for successful business conversions. Your primary mission will involve hunting new business opportunities while also encompassing elements of maintaining existing accounts within your portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: - Actively seeking out and acquiring new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, prospecting, and initiating contact through methods like cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation activities. - Nurturing and growing existing medium-sized accounts by understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, upselling products or services, and maintaining long-term relationships. - Collaborating with clients to identify key stakeholders, executives, managers, decision-makers, and influencers to address their pain points, concerns, and explore opportunities for expanding business within the existing portfolio. - Engaging with colleagues for visibility of opportunities, early engagement, and supporting RFQs and tenders. Ensuring accurate and high-quality CoreLog data for customers under your responsibility. To excel in this role, you should bring: - Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business development, analytical thinking, and strategic planning skills. - Communication Skills: Effective communication with various stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management. - Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the air logistics industry, market trends, regulations, and challenges. - Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong client relationships through trust, empathy, and rapport. - Team Collaboration: Essential collaboration with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and management for success. - Resilience and Persistence: Ability to handle challenges, rejection, setbacks, and pressure with resilience and perseverance. - Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data related to accounts, sales pipelines, and performance metrics. - Ethical Conduct: Upholding ethical standards in all interactions as a representative of the company. In addition, a minimum of 3 years of working experience in freight forwarding sales is required.
