Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in OCR technologies and machine learning frameworks to join our growing AI team. The ideal candidate will develop, train, and optimize AI models for document understanding, text extraction, and intelligent automation workflows, integrating Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes to ensure the highest accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and fine-tune OCR models for multilingual and complex document types.

Design and implement AI pipelines for large-scale document image processing.

Work with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks to build and deploy models.

Utilize open-source AI tools and libraries to enhance system capability and scalability.

Implement and optimize Human-in-the-Loop workflows for AI quality improvement.

Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate AI models into production systems.

Perform AI training, evaluation, and continuous model improvement.

Research and prototype new algorithms for layout analysis, handwriting recognition, and content classification.

Required Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience in AI / ML / Deep Learning.

Strong understanding of OCR technologies (e.g., Tesseract, Google Vision, etc.).

Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent frameworks.

Experience with Python and related ML libraries (NumPy, OpenCV, Pandas, Scikit-learn).

Knowledge of data annotation, AI training pipelines, and model evaluation metrics.

Familiarity with open-source AI projects and community collaboration.

Understanding of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) systems and active learning techniques.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large-scale document datasets.

Exposure to cloud AI platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Understanding of NLP, document layout analysis, and text classification.

Prior work in a content digitization or document automation domain.
