About position

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other consumables.
Monitor and analyse market trends, commodity prices, and supplier performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, including ethical sourcing standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, logistics, and finance.
Forecast procurement needs based on production schedules and sales forecasts.
Continuously identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and lead times to avoid production delays and excess stock.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience in procurement Edible Oil, Sugar and other items used in FMCG sector.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, with an understanding of market dynamics.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
