Department of Environment Studies Panjab University, Chandigarh (INDIA) Dr Suman Mor Professor & Principal Investigator E-mail: sumanmor@pu.ac.in Walk in Interview on 27 September 2024 at 2.00 pm Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following temporary posts in Research Project entitled “Climate Compatible Growth” funded by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland acting through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). Panjab University is a National Coordinating Agency. It will establish and run a CCG network consisting of Special interest groups; facilitate collaborative workshops, stakeholder meetings and capacity building activities; report on monitoring and evaluating India network activities along with strategic planning and documentation. Posts is initially up to 31st March 2025. Post is purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the term period of the project. Post 1: Junior Research Fellow (No. of Posts: 1) a) Qualification: Essential : Master in Journalism /Communication/allied/English/Public Administration or MSc/M.Tech in Environment Science, Environment Science and Engineering/ allied/ Public health from a recognised Institution Desirable: Familiarity with the areas of climate change/climate compatible growth/ sustainability/environmental budgeting/related areas. b) Salary: Rs. 45000/- per month (fixed) a) Job Requirement:  A motivated, multi-skilled candidate.  Ability to make presentations, write academic papers, reports and communicate effectively and collaborate with researchers from diverse disciplines.  Ability to assist with the organisation of workshops, meetings, outreach activities and general management.  Ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data.  Documentation and Record Keeping.
