UX Design Senior Supervisor Purpose: The purpose of this document is to provide the framework for a job description of a UX Design Senior Supervisor. This is meant merely to be a framework as all teams will have different needs depending on their current staff / talent pool, existing campaign building and management resources. OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as a UX Design Senior Supervisor. While previous CDP (customer data platform)team management experience is beneficial and sought, we are open to candidates with 8+ total years working experience including 3+ years experience in team support and guidance. WHAT YOU' WILL BE DOING ? As a UX Design Senior Supervisor, you will be recruiting, managing, and supporting a team of Customer Data Platform Builders as they create and enhance communications campaigns with an eye towards personalized content and right-time engagement. Our Customer Data Platform unifies our customer data and makes it available to your team to create these experiences, all in one platform. The experiences your team builds will be omnichannel, meeting our customers where they're at in the most personalized way possible. You'll be working closely with your business a strategy partners to make sure what your team creates is the best experience possible for our customers. RELEVANT SKILLSET: 5+ years experience leading a development team, particularly teams skilled in creating multi-channel marketing campaigns. This could include, but is not limited to teams utilizing tools such as Adobe Campaign, Adobe Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Klaviyo, and Cheetah Digital. Prior experience building and supporting a technically proficient team, this will include Interviewing and evaluating talent Recruiting team players to help build a well-rounded and complete team Guiding and mentoring builders to help them achieve business goals Prior experience with a Customer Data Platform sought, but not necessarily required depending on other relevant experience. Redpoint Global One platform is particularly relevant, but any prior CDP experience is a big plus. Example of other CDP vendors where your experience is relevant includes, but is not limited to, Action IQ, Adobe Real-Time CDP, mParticle, Salesforce, Tealium, and Twilio Segment. Segmentation and A/B testing competency required. You need to have demonstrated understanding in audience segmentation based on customer behavior, demographics, preferences, and other groupings. Journey orchestration experience required. Includes setting up end-to-end recurring journeys with optimization mechanisms like choosing best outreach channel over a period of time based on previous engagement, setting up A/B tests etc. You should be able to speak to how youve led a team using marketing technologies to power personalized experiences or where the team or technology have perhaps fallen short in doing so. You should be familiar, comfortable, and passionate about data, including: Familiarity with data mapping, transformation and ETL processes. Proficiency in SQL highly valued: you don't need to be able to write SQL from scratch, but you should be able to interpret statements to assist in troubleshooting. Experience with data governance principles will be highly valued. Understanding of database structures. Experience in overseeing the design and configuration of tests to measure incremental performance as well as configuring metadata to enable their measurement. How data can be used to power personalized experiences. You need to be comfortable in continuous conversation with your business partners and leaders of other teams to understand requirements and requirement changes, while also informing the business strategy based on what's possible in the CDP.
