1. About the Role

2. Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Counsel students and parents about available

    courses, programs, and admission processes

    .
  • Understand the student’s academic background, interests, and career goals to provide

    personalized recommendations

    .
  • Maintain a

    positive and informative relationship

    with walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries.

Lead Conversion & Admission Process

  • Handle

    incoming leads

    from calls, emails, walk-ins, and digital platforms.
  • Follow up with leads systematically to achieve

    monthly and quarterly admission targets

    .
  • Coordinate with academic and operations teams for

    smooth onboarding

    after admission confirmation.

Communication & Record Management

  • Maintain

    accurate records

    of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems.
  • Provide

    daily and weekly reports

    to the team lead or admission manager.
  • Share

    feedback from students and parents

    to improve the admission process.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure a

    professional and empathetic approach

    while handling student or parent queries.
  • Assist students with

    documentation, fee payment, and admission formalities

    .
  • Participate in

    open houses, seminars, or webinars

    to represent the institution.

Marketing & Outreach Support

  • Support the marketing team during

    events, school visits, and workshops

    to generate new leads.
  • Provide insights on

    local market trends

    to improve admission strategies.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent

    communication and interpersonal skills

    in English and regional languages.
  • Strong

    listening, persuasion, and negotiation skills

    .
  • Ability to work in a

    target-driven and fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with

    CRM tools and MS Office

    (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude with

    problem-solving and multitasking abilities

4. Eligibility Criteria

Freshers

  • Qualification:

    Graduation in any stream (B.A., B.Sc., BBA, B.Com, etc.).
  • Good communication skills and passion for interacting with students and parents.

Experienced Counsellors

  • 1–7 years of experience in

    admissions, sales, counseling, or customer service

    .
  • Prior experience in

    education, coaching institutes, or edtech

    preferred.

5. Salary & Benefits

  • Freshers:

    ₹3 LPA – ₹5 LPA
  • Experienced:

    ₹5 LPA – ₹10 LPA
