Admission Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Student Guidance: Provide prospective students and their families with accurate information about the institution, its academic programs, campus life, and admission requirements.
• Application Management: Assist students in completing and submitting applications and other required documents.
• Application Review: Evaluate student applications and qualifications to help determine eligibility and make admission decisions.
• Recruitment and Outreach: Participate in recruitment events, college fairs, high school visits, and campus tours to attract potential students.
• Communication: Maintain communication with students, families, and high school counselors to provide support and address questions or issues.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, application statuses, and other admissions activities.
• Collaboration: Work with academic departments, other admissions staff, and alumni to achieve enrollment targets.
• Strategic Input: Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and adjust processes based on student needs and market trends.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or counseling.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of students and stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to organize, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Customer Service: A strong customer service orientation to ensure a positive experience for applicants.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge: Understanding of college admission processes, educational programs, and career opportunities.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel for recruitment events and work extended hours during peak application periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,093.52 - ₹30,000.00 per month
