Job Title: Admission Counselor

Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Admission Counselor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, answering inquiries, and helping them make informed decisions about their academic future. The Admission Counselor will play a vital role in attracting high-quality students and providing a positive experience from initial inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Prospective Student Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families. Provide clear and detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, application deadlines, and financial aid options.

•Application Support: Assist prospective students with the application process, including reviewing application materials, ensuring they meet the admission requirements, and helping students navigate the online application portal.

•Counseling & Guidance: Offer personalized guidance based on students’ academic goals and interests. Help students identify the best-fit program, answering questions related to academic offerings, campus life, and career opportunities.

•Event Coordination: Organize and participate in recruitment events, open houses, information sessions, and campus tours. Represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and other outreach events.

•Assessment & Evaluation: Review and evaluate student applications, including academic transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters. Assist in the assessment of student qualifications and determine eligibility for admission.

•Communication & Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with prospective students via email, phone, or in-person meetings. Follow up on leads and inquiries, providing updates throughout the admission process.

•Collaboration with Faculty & Staff: Work closely with faculty, staff, and other departments to ensure a smooth and positive transition for admitted students. Coordinate with academic advisors, financial aid officers, and student services to ensure prospective students are fully informed.

•Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and admissions outcomes. Prepare reports on application trends, student demographics, and recruitment efforts.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Communications, or a related field.

•2+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or higher education counseling.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students and families.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with admission management software (e.g., CRM systems) is a plus.

Skills:

•Knowledge of education admissions processes and requirements.

•Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address inquiries and concerns.

•Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire prospective students.

•Public speaking and presentation skills for conducting information sessions and events.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
