As an Admission Counselor, you will be responsible for recruiting and identifying students whose interests and academic performance align with the college programs. You will play a crucial role in promoting the college to prospective students and their parents. Your duties will involve advising students through the college application process, offering information on courses, financial aid, and scholarships. Additionally, you will lead campus tours and other events to provide essential information on the school and the overall college experience. Keeping in touch with students to ensure they have the necessary support and information will be a key part of your role. You will also be responsible for reviewing applications, verifying applicant information, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new students. In this position, you will represent the college by traveling to high schools, technical schools, and community colleges to promote the institution. It is essential to maintain accurate records of interactions with students for future reference and follow-up. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
