Role Description

Counselling and Advising: Provide accurate and detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships, and campus life to prospective students, parents, and guidance counsellors

Application Process Management: Guide applicants through the entire application process, including assisting with application completion, reviewing application materials, and ensuring all required documents are submitted on time.

Interviews and Information Sessions: Conduct individual and group information sessions, interviews, and campus tours to help prospective students better understand the university’s offerings and make informed decisions about their educational goals.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of prospective students’ interactions, application materials, and admissions decisions using the university’s designated databases.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of the admission process.

Qualifications

• Exceptional Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills
• Customer Service experience and the ability to assist and guide individuals effectively
• Sales and persuasion capabilities, particularly in an educational context
• An understanding or background in the Education sector
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a background in admissions or counseling is a plus
