Job Description

Job Title: Admin Associate Plant Operations

  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including front desk coordination, vendor handling, and housekeeping support.
  • Oversee office utilities, stationery, pantry services, and plant-related supplies.
  • Assist in managing transportation, logistics, and mailroom activities.
  • Support the team in maintaining administrative records, reports, and documentation.

2. Facility & Plant Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with facility management teams for upkeep of the plant premises.
  • Ensure timely maintenance of office and plant utilities, including electrical, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
  • Follow up with third-party vendors to ensure service quality and adherence to SLAs.
  • Assist in monitoring HVAC, safety equipment, assets, and basic plant infrastructure.

3. Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain records of office and plant assets, consumables, and supplies.
  • Support procurement, allocation, and tracking of equipment and administrative materials.
  • Assist with small-scale facility or workspace changes, seating arrangements, and repair follow-ups.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Support documentation for statutory and regulatory requirements within the plant.
  • Assist in organizing records for audits, licenses, inspections, and internal compliance.
  • Coordinate with administration for filing, updating, and storing mandatory plant documents.

5. Security & Safety Coordination

  • Coordinate with plant security personnel for access control and visitor management.
  • Assist in monitoring CCTV, incident reporting, and safety-related documentation.
  • Support HR/Admin in conducting fire safety drills and first-aid readiness activities.

6. Events & Engagement Support

  • Support planning and execution of plant-level events, celebrations, leadership visits, and employee engagement activities.
  • Coordinate logistics including venue setup, vendor arrangements, and materials.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    2-4years in plant administration, facility coordination, or office operations.
  • Education:

    Bachelors degree.
  • Experience in plant/industrial operations is preferred.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Good organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative tools.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
