Job Title: Design & Development Engineer – Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Department: Engineering / R&D Reports To: ADAS Development Lead / Engineering Manager Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design & Development Engineer – ADAS to be part of our advanced technology team. The role focuses on defining, developing, and validating ADAS components and systems to enhance vehicle safety, performance, and user experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams and external system suppliers to ensure seamless integration and reliable functionality of ADAS features. Key Responsibilities:Define and manage product component/system requirements for ADAS functions in vehicles. Collaborate with system suppliers to ensure all technical and functional requirements are met. Conduct system and vehicle-level testing to validate ADAS functionality and performance, including fail-safe definition and evaluation. Benchmark ADAS features against competitor vehicles to identify areas of improvement and innovation. Ensure adherence to model development timelines by tracking progress and resolving open technical items. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in ADAS design, development, or validation (preferred). Strong understanding of vehicle systems, sensors (radar, lidar, cameras), and control algorithms. Familiarity with system validation, fail-safe concepts, and functional safety (ISO 26262) is a plus. Good knowledge of benchmarking practices, vehicle integration, and test plan development. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
